Mops Group at the Pumpkin Patch

Today my MOPS group went to a Pumpkin Patch out in Orting. We had a great time. Ethan loved the corn maze! And of course all the animals. The little pigs today were very entertaining chasing each other around! We came home with a few small pumpkins and some apples & Corn. Friday Ethan has a field trip to another pumpkin patch. Pat took off the day so we will get our larger pumpkins on Friday.

Ethan's Big Boy Bedroom

This weekend we set Ethan up in his big boy bedroom. No more toddler bed for him! I think it turned out pretty cute, though it is a bit crowded! I am going to do some painting and re-do the book case. Maybe make it dark blue to match his other furniture. Presley's room is also in the process. She has her big girl bed up, but I need to do more work before I post any pictures!

First Field Trip

Here the kids are looking at a Ultra sound. I believe they said that it was a lab. The lady explained that all the lines were the spines . This lab was caring 12 puppies!
This dog was going through some kind of therapy, he was in tub of water that had a treadmill on the bottom. The kids were able to watch him do his exercises. This was very neat and interesting!
What a cute puppy! 10 weeks old. Wish we could have taken it home! Ethan loved it!

Today was Ethan's first Field trip. We visited a local vet. We had such a great time. A bit crazy for me. Besides having Ethan, I had Presley, Leo & a neighbor kid. Luckily I got a hold of my dad and he came with me on the field trip so I would have a few extra hands.

After visiting the vet they headed over to a park to play and have a snack. We have had a very busy week and I am looking forward to laying low this weekend.

Karie's Visit.

My best friend Karie was in town for three days staying with us. We had such a great time. Last time she came we took no photos. This time I did a little bit better, but didn't get as many as I wanted. Hopefully she will send me some of her pictures she took. She just bought an awesome new camera.

Today she left and I am so tired. We had a lot to catch up so we stayed up all three nights very late. I haven't done that since my college days.

Ethan and I were trying to take a mommy & me photo. He is such a goof ball. But I do love all of his facial expressions!

Ethan's B-day Celebration @ School

Last Monday Ethan celebrated his b-day at school. They celebrate all the summer b-day's in September. He had a great day following the teacher around, and wearing his crown. He really is enjoying school so far!

Carrie Underwood Concert!

Last night Pat and I went to the Carrie Underwood concert at the Puyallup fair. We had a great time. We dropped off the kids and Papa & Nono's for the night. Pat and I enjoyed going through some of the booths that we didn't previously get to go through when we were with the kids.

The concert was so good. Carrie Underwood was great, and she has such a great personality! After the concert we walked around the fair for another hour, until both are feet were killing us. I didn't get to many pics awhile at the concert. Once it got dark it was hard to take them.

It was a great date night!!!

Shrek The Musical

Saturday night Pat and I had a date night! We dropped off the kiddos at my parents and then we headed downtown for a fun evening. We had dinner at Palomino's and then headed to the Shrek the Musical. It was a great performance. The costumes were pretty amazing. I especially liked the dragon. And my favorite character was Pinocchio. If you have kids you will probably now this actor. The guy from Johnny and the Sprites on the Disney Channel was Pinocchio!

Wish I would have taken more photos of the evening but this was the only one that I got of Pat and I. It's not that often that either one of us gets dressed up to go out!

Ethan's first day of Pre-school

Monday was Ethan's first day of pre-school. He really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back again.

The Puyallup Fair!

Today was opening day of the Puyallup Fair! What a fun morning and afternoon. Plus the weather was just right. We all enjoyed the animals, of course the horses are our favorite. Ethan specially likes Paint horses. I think they are my favorite as well! We went on a few rides. Presley and Ethan went on a mini roller coaster. She didn't cry, she liked it at first but after the 6th go around she was done!
This year they also had a live monkey show that was very entertaining, the kids really liked it. They brought out a baboon that has played in several movies and commercials. He or She was quite the character!
We had to leave earlier than planned but we already have two more dates that we are going back! My sister and I have tickets to go and see Carrie Underwood! So excited.
