Trick or Treating

Ethan and Presley had so much fun trick or treating. They were really into it this year. Ethan was the HULK and Presley was a Princess though she would tell you that she was Cinderella! We went with a big group of kids, after they went trick or treating they stayed and Jenni's house with a babysitter and had their own kid party! They thought that was pretty cool. When I went to check on them a couple hours later they were playing dance freeze. It was pretty cute. I even thought it was pretty funny that the kids were dancing and next door at the adult house we were dancing as well!

Adult Halloween Party

After taking the kids trick or treating we had an adult party at my friend Karissa's house. We had a blast! Every ones costumes were so great. Pat and I came as a beer keg and the St. Pauli Girl! I defiantly think this should be an annual event!

Pumpkin Carving

Tonight we had both grandparents down for dinner and Pumpkin carving. The kids were so excited and both did an excellent job. We had so much fun. We have a few more pumpkins to carve out in the next few days. My pumpkin didn't turn out quite how I wanted to so I will try again. I spray painted my pumpkin black and then I try to do a skull. Next time I will carve first and before I punch the pumpkin through the holes I will spray paint. It was to hard trying to find the holes that I punched in. That's ok. I will show you what I ended up doing below. I didn't want to waste the pumpkin.

Dinner was great! Pat made a homemade chili, we had beer bread, salad and I made a apple crisp. I love this time of year!!

Field Trip To Maris Farms

Yes, this barn is full of Corn. 8 tons! 100 rubber duckies were hidden under the corn.
Ethan found one.

.Today Ethan had a field trip to Maris Farms. It was sooooo much fun. We were there for three hours. We went through the corn maze, tractor rides, jumping through 8 tons of corn & picking out the perfect pumpkins. Ethan was very happy that Daddy took the day off of work to come on the field trip. It turned out to be a beautiful day. The temperature was in 60's. We are looking forward to decorating some of our pumpkins tomorrow at a party and the rest of them next weekend with Grandpa & Grandma G, and Papa & Nono.

Mops Group at the Pumpkin Patch

Today my MOPS group went to a Pumpkin Patch out in Orting. We had a great time. Ethan loved the corn maze! And of course all the animals. The little pigs today were very entertaining chasing each other around! We came home with a few small pumpkins and some apples & Corn. Friday Ethan has a field trip to another pumpkin patch. Pat took off the day so we will get our larger pumpkins on Friday.

Ethan's Big Boy Bedroom

This weekend we set Ethan up in his big boy bedroom. No more toddler bed for him! I think it turned out pretty cute, though it is a bit crowded! I am going to do some painting and re-do the book case. Maybe make it dark blue to match his other furniture. Presley's room is also in the process. She has her big girl bed up, but I need to do more work before I post any pictures!
